The Buderim VIEW Club meets the 1st Wednesday every month for lunch.

Buderim View Club will be welcoming Sheila Laxon, the first woman to train winners for the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups in 2001. Sheila was awarded "Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit" (ONNZ) in 2002 for services to racing.

Shelia who now trains with her partner John Symons on the Sunshine Coast will be presenting her life story to our members at our luncheon meeting on the 2nd August.

Sheila and John trained 3 winners recently at the Sunshine Turb Club.

Attending our club’s events will help raise funds for THE SMITH FAMILY, helping with education of students from underprivileged families.

Arrive from 11am for a 11.30am start.

Each event will have a Guest Speaker.

Cost: $30 for two course lunch and hire of Function Room
