Buderim Foundation

Benefiting members of our community

One of the BWMCA’s most significant community-based initiatives was the establishment of the Buderim Foundation in 2004.  Thanks to many generous donors in our community, the Foundation started distributing grants in 2008.

The Foundation is a philanthropic, not-for-profit organisation, registered as a Charity and designed to encourage individuals, families, and businesses to invest in Buderim and the Sunshine Coast.  The Foundation is co-located with the BWMCA but operates independently under its own administrative arrangements.

The Buderim Foundation receives bequests and donations, invests the funds to generate income, and distributes the income as grants to community-based organisations for projects, or to assist people suffering financial hardship.
