Coastal Caring Clowns Inc are celebrating their 21st birthday and they want you to have fun with them with an afternoon filled with music, fun and silly clown antics.

Making the afternoon even more special will be the MC, our own Rosanna Natoli, Channel 7 Presenter

The clowns will be joined on stage by: Buderim Calisthenics and Buderim Concert Band

About Coastal Caring Clowns

The Coastal Caring Clowns have been active on the Sunshine Coast for the last 21 years visiting aged care homes and hospital wards. Even with COVID they do over 300 individual Clowning performances per year. They have an agreement with the Queensland Department of Health and Wishlist to provide a professional standard of clowning and care to all.

The Coastal Caring Clowns have also been very conspicuous at community events, such as the Buderim Street Party, Care Expo, Disability Expo, Police Walk to School, Buderim Australia Day Parade, Markets, Christmas Parties – and they have loved every minute of it.

They operate as a not for profit incorporated body, and have 23 active dedicated volunteers, all with Blue Cards, and they enjoy nothing more than to give back to the community they serve.

“The noblest art of all is that of making other people happy” was a quote by P.T. Barnum which resonates with “Candy”, the proud president of the clown troupe.

“Once you put the clown wig and make-up on you become a different person. You are invincible. Others feel your caring, but you have to have a BIG HEART.” Says Rocco, the vice president who has been clowning at Coastal Caring Clowns for the last 21 years.
