Buderim Male Choir
Description:
The Buderim Male Choir is a non-auditioned community choir open to men of all ages and singing experience. Members come from all over the Sunshine Coast and hinterland. As well as the singing, members enjoy the social and health benefits that their choir involvement engenders. The choir has functioned continually since its formation in 1974 and is looking forward to its impending 50th anniversary. It’s possibly the longest continually serving community choir on the Sunshine Coast and the only one singing in the classic Welsh style of four part harmony - first and second tenor, baritone and bass. The choir performs throughout the year at community events and to raise funds for local charities or worthwhile causes. The choir has a wide-ranging repertoire selected to appeal to all ages and a variety of tastes. Rehearsals are held each Monday evening between 7:00pm and 9:30pm at St Mark's Anglican Church, Main Street, Buderim.
